WHAT DOES THIS JOB ENTAIL?

Set up and operate CNC Mori Seiki lathe to perform machining operations, such as turning, boring, facing, and threading on castings, forgings and bar stock: etc.

Requires no supervision/assistance to perform job tasks.
Read complicated blueprints and/or sketches of part to determine machining to be done, dimensional specifications, set up, and operating requirements
A good understanding of machine level language programming

• Ability to develop procedures and design fixtures or tooling.
  
• Ability to develop procedures and design fixtures or tooling.

Setup Tooling, Gather Bar Stock, Setup Feeder.

Edit Offsets, Check Tolerances per Blue Print.

Inspect with Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gages etc.

IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?

• 5+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Mori Seiki Lathe machines
  
• Experience editing programs on CNC machines
  
• Must be able to work with little supervision
  
• Ability to troubleshoot production and adjust machines accordingly
  
• Basic programming experience a plus
  
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 3-12 hour shifts (Friday-Sunday 6:00 am to 6:00 pm)
